sarazucker: who designed the costumes for baz luhrmann’s upcoming recreation of ‘the great gatsby’? clearly, miuccia prada. chick knows a drop-waist better than most out there right now; it also seems fitting considering the schiaparelli and prada exhibit focused on the parallels between two designers of very different time periods (schiap made her mark in the 1920s and 30s). as you see above, sketches of four of the forty dresses that will be shown in the film have been revealed — i can’t wait to see the rest.
